Bad Company 2 Recieves 18+ M Rating

October 30, 2009

Battlefield fansite Battlefield 3 Nation is reporting that Battlefield: Bad Company 2 hasĀ receivedĀ an 18+ Mature rating, a step up from the T for Teen rating the original had, due to the heavy amounts of swearing in the multiplayer. I cannot argue with this rating at all, because I’ve seen multiple gameplay videos for the multiplayer and they are swearing their heads off. Nice touch of realism. The graphics are looking pretty intense too.

But I also have to think that this is a good thing. From all the trailers and such we’ve seen, this is going to be a much darker game. Bad Company 2 will be only the second BF game to have blood (the first being Battlefield Vietnam). I loved the humor from the original, but this is shaping up to be a real contender with Modern Warfare 2.

NHL 10 Glitch Goal

I found an NHL 10 glitch goal while playing today. All the details on it are in the sidebar for the video, and I’ll paste what I wrote again down here. I found this very reminiscent of the “drag wrister” from NHL 08 and 09 (not sure if it was around before that) and will be giving the guys at EA Canada a heads up to get this patched as soon as possible. Here’s all the information from the sidebar on YouTube.

“I was playing NHL 10 today in Be-A-GM mode, Vancouver Canucks (me) vs. Detroit Red Wings (CPU) and I stumbled upon a rather helpful glitch. It’s pretty much NHL 10′s drag wrister. You come down a player’s shooting side (so a right handed shot down the ride side, left handed on the left) and pull the stick diagonally back on the forehand, aim for the top corner, short-side and shoot from around the top of the faceoff circles. It’s gone in every time. I tried this with Ryan Kesler (right handed shot) as well as Ryan Johnson and Henrik Sedin (left handed shots)”
